HEYDT
Samantha Heydt is an American social practice and recycled-media artist. Working with discarded material — newspaper, photographs, advertisements — she marries images of destruction with portrayals of the American Dream, working literally with idioms and the gap between what we say and what we mean. Her work is held in the collections of the Smithsonian's Hirshhorn Museum and the State Hermitage Museum.
