MiratecArts joins the United Nations team of the Mountain Partnership in commemoration of International Mountain Day on December 11 with the launch of the PICO FESTIVAL MOUNTAIN program. From the mountain island of Pico, in the Azores (Portugal), Pico Mountain Festival is an arts presentation to encourage conversation of important subjects about mountains and mountain culture. Through art exhibitions, book launches, film and performance presentations, mountain adventures from photography to walking, ballet, musical compositions and murals, during the month of January, we invite the world to join us in the midst of Atlantic Ocean, at the highest point of Portugal, the mountain island of Pico. Pico Festival Mountain is a project of MiratecArts with partner of presentation the Regional Direction of the Environment (Government of the Azores).
