There are many people who love traveling. Some travel to more conventional destinations while others travel around the globe, looking for anything unusual. Travel Photographers are people who really like to travel and discover things the average traveler is unlikely to encounter. Many times they manage to depict personal moments of the inhabitants of a region and give the viewer an authentic picture. That's when a travel photo is really successful. When sophistication is gone and reality is what remains. At Blank Wall Gallery viewers will be able to see such photos taken by photographers from 33 different countries. The diversity of the photographers has created a very interesting result since there are many different theories and views on travel photography concentrated in one place.

Υπάρχουν πολλοί άνθρωποι που αγαπάνε τα ταξίδια. Άλλοι ταξιδεύουν σε πιο συμβατικούς προορισμούς και άλλοι σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο, ψάχνοντας να βρουν οτιδήποτε είναι ασυνήθιστο για τα δεδομένα τους. Οι φωτογράφοι που κάνουν ταξιδιωτική φωτογραφία είναι άνθρωποι που πραγματικά τους αρέσει να ταξιδεύουν και να ανακαλύπτουν πράγματα που ο μέσος ταξιδιώτης θα συναντήσει πολύ δύσκολα. Πολλές φορές καταφέρνουν να αποθανατίσουν με το φακό τους πολύ προσωπικές στιγμές των κατοίκων μίας περιοχής και να δώσουν στο θεατή μία αυθεντική εικόνα. Τότε είναι που μία ταξιδιωτική φωτογραφία είναι πραγματικά επιτυχημένη. Όταν φεύγει η επιτήδευση και το στήσιμο και μένει η αυθεντικότητα και η ουσία.
Στη Blank Wall Gallery οι θεατές θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να δουν τέτοιες φωτογραφίες τραβηγμένες από φωτογράφους που προέρχονται από 33 διαφορετιές χώρες. Η διαφορετικότητα των φωτογράφων έχει δημιουργήσει ένα πολύ ενδιαφέρον αποτέλεσμα αφού υπάρχουν πολλές διαφορετικές θεωρίες και απόψεις πάνω στην ταξιδιωτική φωτογραφία οι οποίες βρίσκονται συγκεντρωμένες σε ένα μέρος.

ABOUT | BLANK WALL GALLERY

Being photographers ourselves, we have realized from our own experience that there are very few galleries exclusively addressed to photographers, although there is such a need. So, in 2014, we decided to create a space in order to give photographers, worldwide, the opportunity to present their work and become known to an audience outside their country of origin.

Our aim is to organize 1 group exhibition per month, presenting more than 70 photographs with original and inspired work each time. Additionally, we would like to give the viewers the chance to get to know as many photographers as possible through their solo exhibitions. We hope that we will succeed in stimulating the viewers and presenting new trends and ways of expression in photography and that our name will be a synonym to innovation in this area.

Digital art defines the contemporary. The Los Angeles Center For Digital Art is dedicated to the propagation of all forms of digital art, new media, digital video art, net art, digital sculpture, interactive multimedia, and the vast panorama of hybrid forms of art and technology that constitute our moment in culture. We are committed to supporting local, international, emerging and established artists through exposure in our gallery. We have an ongoing schedule of exhibits and competitions, produce editions of wide format archival prints, and collaborate in the production of digital artworks in our studio. As well we are involved with curating digital exhibits at institutions and festivals outside of the LACDA gallery schedule.

identifying a need for arts festivals to focus on and privilege the
voices and experiences of those identifying as women. We have selected
an array of performance artists, filmmakers, visual artists, makers

LoosenArt is an on line gallery and platform dedicated to contemporary visual arts, born and based on principles of contemporaneity, the very same principles in which contact, connection and exchange are prerogatives of a cultural evolution supported by a technology that is the expression of an interest to find new channels to relate freely and more directly to the others, an interest to demonstrate an innate need of human contact, where meetings are always something which give rise to something else.

The LoosenArt project provides a space where art finds further support of its role, of its deeper meaning, of it being a channel through which man relates with others, with the world and reality. Being in contact with all of this, means being linked, feeling and grasping what is originated from all reality, so it also means feeling what today we perceive as an emergency, that need to answer and to measure. Due to this reason LoosenArt supports some organizations engaged in the field of defense of human rights.

The LoosenArt Gallery Artwork offers are not covered by commercial logic widespread in the contemporary art system, where the value of the same artwork reflects the costs to possess it. Our offers are the expression of an interest to reach a common goal, that both the gallery and its artists share. A value, which even more importantly, can be traced in the recognition of a principle rooted in the natural urge to communicate and participate, in response to that innate need for meeting others.
